As mentioned the food is made for take-out, but they do have a garden that many choose to eat their meals in. We can’t give you a recommendation on a specific item to try, because the menu does change weekly at Pat Greer’s kitchen. You can also cover your snack and dessert cravings at Pat Greer’s Kitchen, with their plan-based options. When planning to make your trip for your healthy, raw, vegan meal, make sure it is during a weekday, since it is unfortunately closed on the weekends.
Bellagreen offers a variety of meals from soups, salads, burgers and desserts in a fast casual environment. The chef prepared meals are all made from scratch and can be customized to meet dietary needs. The menu offers gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options, as well as a seasonal section that has a range of options for the time of year. The regular menu items include options like tacos, wood-fired pizza, paninis, sandwiches, pasta and a handful of desserts. With six locations in the area (and two more coming soon) as well as delivery options, those looking for a healthier option in Houston have no reason not to give this a try.

Leaf and Grain has a smaller menu than some of the other choices, offering salads and grain bowls that consist of fresh, wholesome ingredients and high-quality proteins. However, all you need to do is check out their reviews all over online (or the typical long lunchtime lines) to know that this small menu is still worth the trip. Leaf and Grain provides fast, healthy and satisfying meals that make it easy for their customers in Houston looking for a healthy meal, not sacrifice great taste. Their dressings are what sets these meals over the top, made in house daily from scratch. Unfortunately you will only be able to try this healthy option, weekdays from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, but their order ahead option makes it easier to do so.
All items at this casual spot for raw and vegan gourmet sandwiches are 100% vegan and soy free, with gluten free options. Paninis, burgers, tacos, bowls and salads fill this menu, with options to add on green chile, avocado, grilled portabella mushrooms and more. Additionally a variety of sides and desserts can complement your meal, but you will definitely want to try a cold pressed raw juice, wheatgrass shot or one of their smoothies. Open Monday through Saturday, until 8:00 PM as well, opens up the opportunity to try out this casual, vegan healthy option.
