Annalise is a full time student pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Although, she is new to formal one-on-one personal training, she has trained friends, family and coworkers for three years. Throughout her academic career, she has taken an interest in alternative/integrative medicine. She is looking for clients that want utilize exercise to connect with their body and mind to create a healthier being. Clients are encouraged to listen to their bodies and only do what feels GOOD. As your trainer, she can help you learn movements that can strengthen the body, lose excess body fat, and achieve optimal health. Although looking good is a bonus, she wants her clients to feel more capable and vibrant. Exercise should enhance the lifestyle not hinder it. No matter what type of schedule her clients have, she wants exercise to be a time they look forward to.
Bree Turner is a unique and patient personal trainer who gives intense workouts styled for your needs without any of that drill sergeant attitude. She focuses on empowering others with positive motivation, functional movement and nutrition. These tools help you build muscle, move without pain, and gain the booty-fab, warrior self that’s always been there.
Training to become healthier and more fit is about changing and adapting to a new lifestyle. This is Cristina’s goal as a trainer. She strives to create the best YOU by working on form and execution, teaching you about YOUR body, nutrition, and preventive wellness. Your body is your tool, so together you will create and fine tune the best version of you. She has experience in bodybuilding and training clients for shows. She works with post rehabilitation and preventive injuries, nutrition and wellness consulting and overall body composition transformations.
Erin became a personal trainer to help others find their best version of themselves. She has always been active, but she let her physical health decline when she fell into a cycle of addiction and destructive behavior. Since entering recovery a number of years ago, she found that physical health is only part of the total wellness package. It’s important to take care of yourself in body, mind, and spirit. She specializes in high-intensity workouts, but she can develop a program for every fitness level and every goal.
Maggie started her career in fitness in 2016 after a career as a professional dancer. She received her personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is also a Female Fitness Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM. She sees a variety of clients of different fitness levels with different goals. She specializes in weight loss, strength training, pre/post natal fitness, sports specific training, and core development.
Noelia Cruz is a Certified Personal Trainer, USA Boxing Athlete, and a Group Fitness Instructor. She holds professional certifications in Personal Training, Mind Body Agility Training, Lifestyle Medicine, Health Coaching, Personal Training Design, and Athletic Performance for Sport and Life. Her passion and commitment to boxing led her to become a Chicago Golden Gloves champion. She has a professional background in Performance, Fine Arts, and Dance Studies. This makes her training style varied, integrated, and creative. With a diverse background in fitness and dance, she brings a multi-discipline approach to her training. As well as boxing, and various forms of personal and group fitness, she studied Jazz Dance for 10 years, mastered Ballet Foundation, and was principal dancer of a Chicago based African Dance Company. Noelia strongly believes in the power and impact that exercise can have on improving overall health, and quality of life. 10 years ago, after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, she managed to improve her disability significantly by embracing fitness as a form of rehabilitation. Based on her own journey, she now encourages trainees to trust, and to challenge their bodies; to discover all the great things they are capable of accomplishing—with the help of quality exercise. As a trainer, teacher, and mentor, Noelia’s mission is to help guide students to achieve fitness and wellness goals beyond their own expectations. Her philosophy is that in boxing, and in life: confidence, grit, determination, and resiliency are the key traits to success.
Sam has always been a physically driven person. She was a gymnast for most of my adolescent and teen years, and these days she looks to activities such as hiking, rock climbing, landscaping, and yoga to fill that niche. She is proponent of activity that keeps you entertained and inspired. Gymnastics helped her to develop a fine tuned eye for proper form; practice only makes perfect if you engage in perfect practice, so she will be sure to cue and guide you appropriately to set you up for success!
Stephanie graduated from Walsh University in North Canton, OH in 2001. Shortly after, she moved to Chicago where she worked in a financial firm for 10 years. After years of attending group fitness classes, she started working with a personal trainer 6 years ago, which inspired her to become a personal trainer less than a year later. Stephanie believes in a taking a progressive approach to workouts by designing programs tailored to an individual’s goals and fitness level to yield the best results. Her training style incorporates mastering basic movements used in everyday life, like squats, lunges, hip hinging, and pressing and pulling movements, which improves nervous system function, helps clients increase their range of motion, reduce pain, and become stronger. With nearly 6 years of personal training experience, and certifications through NASM, Poliquin, and a variety of continuing education, Stephanie caters to all ages, fitness levels, and goals. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned athlete, she can educate you and help you achieve your goals.
After spending many hours working full-time in the software industry, Terra spent a lot of her free time and energy finding sustainable ways to stay fit and eat healthy while balancing work, social, and general life activities. She is passionate about helping others find that personal balance to stay healthy and improve their overall wellness. As part of her personal training approach, she is keen on understanding her clients’ individual lifestyle and fitness goals and then building an attainable fitness roadmap that leads them to those goals. After an initial fitness assessment and lifestyle discussion, you will collaborate together to develop a plan, and she will provide both resources and training support to help you achieve your goals.
Torri is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, and Group Fitness instructor. She has worked in the Fitness industry for over 7 years and owns an in-home personal training business in the Katy, Texas area. In addition to helping people meet their weight loss and fitness goals, she enjoys getting to see people re-gain use of previously injured muscles and joints. As a mother of 3 children, she understand that real life and schedules don’t usually bend around your fitness goals. For this reason, she aims to be flexible, and help you set attainable goals that help maintain that balance.
Susan is very passionate about helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. She has been a personal trainer for about a year and prior to focusing on personal training clients, taught yoga and Pilates. She has always been interested in fitness and nutrition, becoming a certified Pilates instructor, creating her own gluten-free granola product as well as practicing yoga and meditation for several years. In addition to these interests, she weight trains and does Crossfit. All of these activities have contributed to her own overall wellness. She has a vested interest in the success of her clients and creates an individually tailored fitness programs based on each clients’ specific goals. She does not take a “one size fits all” approach, but rather creates a personalized fitness programs that motivate, teach, challenge and engage each individual. Her focus is bringing fitness to her clients at their home or residential gym.
Vicki has been working in the fitness Industry for nearly 15 years and combines her love for functional strength training , with her passion for the mind, body, spirit connection rooted in Yoga. She currently teaches yoga classes in several fitness facilities throughout Chicago and on the North Shore while working individually with clients.
