About Sam Goss


I have always been a physically driven person. I was a gymnast for most of my adolescent and teen years, and these days I look to activities such as hiking, rock climbing, landscaping, and yoga to fill that niche. I am proponent of activity that keeps you entertained and inspired. Gymnastics helped me to develop a fine tuned eye for proper form; practice only makes perfect if you engage in perfect practice, so I will be sure to cue and guide you appropriately to set you up for success!

I highly recommend Sam for personal training. Not only is she a great trainer with creative and motivating workouts but she is also a really kind, personable human! Since working with her I am feeling much more confident in my strength and overall physical appearance. Every work out she pushes me but knows my mental and physical limits, she pays close attention to my form which I know I would not be able to do if I were working out alone, with a group, or with a friend.

Sam is absolutely amazing! I never thought I’d be so excited and motivated to work out, until I started my sessions with Sam.

She is a consummate professional, knows exactly how to create a program for your individual goals, and then encourages you to  WANT TO attain them.

Sam is so incredibly knowledgeable about the body, and she always knows exactly how to address not only your focus areas, but also any concerns, or aches and pains you might have. For example, during our first discussion, I explained that I can’t do any jumping because I‘ve had pain in my left knee for years. Immediately, she asked me to do a couple things (eg a swat), and she knew exactly the cause of my pain, focused intently on my form during our workouts, and my pain is GONE.
Also, after just a short period of time working with her, I started feeling better, sleeping better, feeling more confident, and already seeing results well above and beyond what I expected.
And, on top of it all, she is just a great person. She’ll motivate you and push you, all while being empathetic and funny at the same time.

Sam is a complete pro. She can address any body part with a strenthening exercise. And she gives spontaneous,  motivating encouragement. AND she’s delightful! We laugh a lot!

I have been training weekly with Sam for over a year and couldn’t imagine training with anyone else! She specifically tailors workouts to my wants/needs and I have seen such a difference in my appearance and confidence. Not only have I lost weight, but I have toned up targeted areas that I couldn’t achieve before. Sam is extremely intelligible, hands on and is able to quickly tweek my form and coach me through my workouts. She is also able to motivate me just the right amount as each set flows into the next seamlessly.

Additionally, I truly look forward to our workouts because she is hilarious and so much fun to be around! I haven’t had one workout that hasn’t had its share of laughs and joy.

If you’re looking for a smart trainer that truly invests in you, keeps your on your feet and has a good time while doing it, Sam is your girl!

Great weight loss & toning!

I worked with Sam from Feb’17 in order to get in shape for my Wedding in Oct’17. Through the 8 months that we worked togethor, I dropped more than 25LB ! I was able to get into a heathy workout routine, and enjoyed my training sessions with Sam. She is professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring about your goals.

I just turned 70 years old and have been working out with Sam Goss for a year.  She is very skilled in choosing the appropriate exercise for me and to work specific parts of the body.  I have more energy and flexibility than I have had in years and highly recommend her to give you a great workout.

I’ve suffered years with my IT band and even did physical therapy. But I had no luck with getting any relief and much worse it left me being inactive and couldn’t work without feeling pain after.

Sam is so knowledgable with body structures that she understood exactly what I needed. She really helped me not only to alleviate my pain but made me a lot stronger. I love that whenever I felt like giving up she’s like a ray of sunshine that motivated me to do more than I thought I could possibly do. Best trainer I’ve ever had!

Sam has a great personality and keeps workouts fun.  She is really good at assessing my fitness level and challenges me to turn in my best performance each time!  I appreciate her attention to technique and form so that workouts are safe and productive.  I highly recommend Sam!!
