30 years in this field have brought many opportunities to learn: professional credentials from ACE, NASM, NSCA, RTS, and IYCA, a mentorship at Athlete’s Performance in Arizona, and professional youth coaching credentials from the NYSCA. Formerly the Fitness Director at the Deerfield Multiplex and Midtown Athletic Club at Bannockburn, I’ve had the good fortune to run the fitness programs and personal training departments for the two largest fitness centers on Chicago’s North Shore. Best of all, I’ve been able to coach all three of my kids sports teams for years.
Today, as an independent fitness coach, I teach frustrated athletes to move optimally so they can reduce injury, play longer, and play better.

I have been training with Andrew for over 2 years. Before training we did an assessment and also discussed both long and short term goals.
I view Andrew more as a coach than a trainer, He will tell you the why’s of a specific exercise and he keeps the workouts fairly intense but not to the point of failure. He has done this a long time and is knowledgeable and can work with teen and those who are in their 60’s and beyond. I am confident I am stronger, have better balance and much less likely to sustain an injury during a workout or playing a sport.
I’ve been working with Andrew for about 9 months now and would strongly recommend him. Each week he designs a unique workout that is challenging, but also aligned to my workout goals. He knows when to push me, but also how to adapt to my limitations.

I have known Andrew for almost 10 years and never have my workouts been boring. He got me through a very tough time as well and that was recovering from ACL replacement surgery. He even came to my house those first few weeks post surgery.
When you are training with Andrew it is your time. He never has his phone with him, never is looking at the TV. He is totally concentrating on you, your workout and your form. My goals over the years have changed and he always reworks the program to help me accomplish my goals. This year he helped me add 10-15 yards to my shots on the golf course.

I had constant low back pain, I think my chiropractor was getting frustrated with me and suggested I go meet with Andrew. Upon meeting him, I knew it was a go! We started out slow so he could figure me and my body out, and figure it out he did.
