Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
My name is Daniel Wilkins, and I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT). I am also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt, and have been both competing and teaching BJJ for 11 years.
I am passionate about helping both kids and adults find their passion for fitness, and helping them build the foundation for healthy life-long habits. I have experience training the full spectrum of clients, from those simply looking to make a healthy change to their lifestyle, to the elite athlete interested in developing a competitive edge.
The decision to hire a personal trainer is well, a personal one. I understand and respect that the decision to make any lifestyle change can be scary, intimidating, and emotional for a lot of people. I are here to help you achieve your health and fitness goals, and to make that journey as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Ultimately, it is my goal to educate my clients enough so that long-term they can continue to maintain the goals they achieve without the need for a personal trainer.

Every client has their own unique goals and needs, and so programming can look different between clients. What is consistent, however, is my passion, dedication and undivided attention that each client receives during a session. I train each of my clients with the same level of care and attention that I would a close friend of family member.
I am particularly proud of the work with clients that came to me feeling like “being fit” or losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight were unattainable goals for them. I had one client, in particular, who hated being active because she felt she was uncoordinated and weak, which made activity difficult and hurt her confidence. Consequently, she had gained weight, which also effected her confidence. Through stability and core training, I was able to develop a strong foundation that we then built on top of. Her programming processed to coordination and reactive training. She was then quickly able to progress to more traditional strength and endurance training techniques. After 16 week, the client was able to meet with me less and workout more on her own. She had the skills, knowledge to begin to take over her own training. By 26 weeks, she was on her own and participating in all kind of different activities that she had previously felt “weren’t for her”. She lost 22 pounds and has kept them off, but most importantly, she discovered that she actually was someone who enjoyed being physically active.
