Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I am a nationally certified personal training coach and Atlanta native, holding certification through the National Council on Strength & Fitness and Kettlebell Certification through Kettlebell Athletics. In addition, I am CPR & AED certified through the American AED CPR Association.
In 2020 I relocated back to Atlanta due to the pandemic, after living in New York City for 7 years. My fitness journey began as a professional dancer, choreographer and instructor, 12 years ago. I received professional dance training at New World School of the Arts, as well as the Ailey School.
My personal training experience began at Equinox in 2018, where I experienced immense growth through the Equinox Fitness Training Institute. During my training with EFTI, I studied anatomy, kinesiology, physiology & exercise science, extensively. I currently lead as the Chief Executive Officer and personal trainer of Deblc Fitness, LLC.
My expertise extends across several fitness disciplines (i.e., injury prevention, corrective exercise, strength training, dance performance and instruction, barre, mobility, flexibility, hypertrophy and weight loss training). I am well attuned and responsive to the specialized needs of clients with diverse interests and priorities and possess a demonstrated track record of producing desirable results and exceeding clients’ expectations.

I have seen my fitness change markedly over the past year plus with Deborah. My day-to-day, from my yoga practice to biking and walking around New York City: everything has improved with better strength, range of motion, stamina, and balance.
We started training together in a fitness club and she was able to quickly adapt my workouts when our lives went remote in March 2020. She’s constantly full of new, clever ideas to challenge me and help me meet my fitness goals.
I cannot speak highly enough of her as a trainer – she is kind, caring, and sweet but also holds me very much accountable for my fitness goals – she doesn’t let me get away with half-assed form or lazy reps. When the mental challenge of a workout gets in the way, she helps me find ways to get past my block: she encourages me, but also walks me through key kinesthetic connections to help me to understand, both mentally and physically.
I wish I could train with her every day – both heavy and restorative, functional and resistance – she covers it all and constantly finds new ways to challenge me. But most of all, she is just a joy to work with: I actually look forward to sessions with her.
