I grew up climbing trees, hiking mountains, and playing a good deal of games and sports. Today I still love to climb trees and hike mountains though games sadly are harder to come by as an adult! I’ve trained in martial arts most of my adult life and have been a personal trainer for the last nearly four years.
That being said, I myself struggle to workout or get to the gym. I lost my mother and have struggled with depression ever since. I still find a lot of love and joy in life, but appreciate how hard it can be to get there sometimes. I specialize in alternative fitness; in ways to make fitness more accessible and pleasant and pushing for new personalized goals to help change things for the better, one step at a time.
I myself look to accomplish a few goals, my more central one being completing obstacle course races (Like Tough Mudder) because it’s incredibly fun to me and helps motivate me to train and be better. My focus is to feel as comfortable and happy as I can be while completing the courses, and showing up at minimum has always made me successful at that but it’s best when I have good friends beside me.

A focus on safe and efficient technique, emphasis on proper and safe mobility, assessment of dysfunctions, and open humor. I’m in it to build a relationship you can rely on and trust as well as making sure the ‘house’ of successes we build is built safely and atop a strong healthy foundation.
