Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am a fitness instructor. I believe movement is medicine and I love that movement can provide you with a better life on so many different levels. I have personally found it to boost my mood and give me joy and peace when I need it most. I have been teaching High Fitness for 4 years at the Cedar Park Rec Center and absolutely love helping people move their bodies to regain motion and build a healthier and stronger self. I also teach Mobility/stretch classes at the Verena at Leander and love helping participants build on their flexibility and strength while leaving them feeling good afterwards. It brings me great joy as I watch people grow and progress and I get so excited to see it happen. I see the good in what I do for others and I want to continue to do good and help others become more confident with themselves and see how capable they are in moving their bodies for good.

My mobility class spends some time in chairs and standing while using chairs as support if and when needed. We start by warming up our bodies with deep breaths and other stretching. I then use resistance bands on your legs and then hands to work those finer arm and leg muscles a little bit more than usual. We then move to standing behind our chairs and work on some balance, coordination and stretching and end the class with some toning in the arms for movement while seated in the chairs again and some yoga/stretching with deep cleansing breaths.
