As a type 1 diabetic, I had to learn how to be healthy in order to live a decent life. The discipline and joy from being in touch with my body bled over into all aspects of my life. Now I teach others what I’ve learned and help them grow. I have 7 years of experience designing programs for a variety of different clientele and goals, working both in commercial gyms, and as a freelance trainer. I help with everything from weight loss and management, people with chronic illnesses, and self-defense training.
Hourly rate: $80
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
A typical session will start with warming-up the body properly. This includes a light form of cardio, with flexibility techniques to prepare for the movements. After explaining the game plan for their goals, we will move into the exercises. It’s fun and dynamic, changing things as needed based on the response and observations, implementing different modalities. It’ll be fast paced, as we are concerned with quality over quantity. This means keeping rest times low and heart rates elevated. We will be working hard and making changes!
Recently I designed a program to help a client prepare for his physical test for the Fire Department. He put in hard work over a 6 month period, dropping over 40 pounds into an acceptable weight, and passing his physical exam. I was honored to go through that journey with him and help guide him in his transformation.
