I also offer group sessions, because there’s nothing like getting a motivational workout with the enjoyment of a friend.

People don’t stop moving because they get older, they get older because they stop moving. I can push you when necessary and I can also tone it down when needed as well. My goal is to get my clients to become more “intuitive” and think “progressively” with their body and health. If I can do that, then perhaps you’ll use that same mindset in other aspects of your life.
For the dad who wants to be in the best shape of his life to play with his kids without pain, or the mom who after a long day wants to destress with a brief but challenging workout that won’t leave her exhausted, and for those who have hobbies and don’t want to spend all day in the gym.
You can expect to leave each session with less pain, feeling challenged, a better understanding of your body, but most of all humble.
Daniel was a 34-year-old client of mine. He worked for tech companies as a consultant mainly doing most of his business from home.
Daniel had some weight he wanted to lose but also suffered from back pain, and was using pain medication. Other than that, he had decent muscle mass and brimming with energy.
But because of his back pain, he couldn’t work out so he came to me for help.
Daniel had been training all of his life but had never hired a trainer. He was a traditional conventional heavy lifter. He also played volleyball, basketball, and golf. So he was a pretty active guy.
I was able to help Daniel.
I noticed a curvature in his low back due to an anterior pelvic tilt accompanied by a kyphotic rounding in his shoulders. I noticed it every time he stood, walked, or went into a dynamic movement. I also noticed he carried most of his weight on the balls of his feet.
He had medical clearance to exercise and his chiropractor told him he was really restricted in his T-Spine and lacked core stability.
Here’s what I did:
Becuase of how tension ran in his body, I needed to release the overactive muscles using Myofascial Release that were anchoring his body. This was caused by many years of conventional methods that his body likely adapted too. I then began re-tensioning his body to stand properly by starting at the core. By getting intrinsic core stabilization, this allowed his body to rely on his deep core muscles for support instead of the smaller stabilizer muscles in his lower back. This was able to fix his anterior pelvic tilt in his hip and allow for more efficient movement in his upper body allowing his chest to expand getting him out of his kyphotic rounded posture. I also made sure he carried this same integrated structure in his dynamic movement.
Daniel’s back pain was now gone after so many years. He dropped over 40lbs and is now back playing golf, basketball, and all the other activities he loves doing. Daniel got his life back!
