I have been personal training for eight years. I started working in a campus gym while I was obtaining my master’s degree in exercise science. Following that I did an internship at a crossfit gym and two strength and conditioning internships at universities, including UIC. Since then I have been working solely as a personal trainer both with individual sessions as well as small groups.
Hourly rate: $75
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
Sessions start with a warm up to prepare the body for the upcoming workout.
Then it will vary depending on the client’s goal.
Those focusing on weight loss will do a full body workout, set up in a circuit training style.
Those focusing on strength building will start with the main compound lifts and then move on to smaller isolation exercises towards the end of the workout.
I have weight loss clients that start seeing results within the first month (ones that are committed and consistent).
My strength building clients learn how to properly execute lifts and gain confidence with strength training, leading them to increased strength results.
