Hello! I’m Tendika and I am Certified Personal Trainer with 5 years of professional experience. Due to my passion of working with both the body and mind, I have developed a genuine passion for helping others transform outwardly and inwardly. I obtained my personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and my bachelors degree in Psychology from Indiana University. Currently, I am a few months away from completing a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with a wide variety of clients, including men and women of all ages, injured clients, those looking to lose weight, and even pre-and postnatal women. I have successfully helped clients achieve major results in transforming their bodies, increasing their strength, gaining confidence, and overcoming obstacles along the way.
Hourly rate: $70
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
A typical training session will be intentional and time efficient. Depending on your goals, I will design an individualized program so that each of our workouts will be planned and then implemented in session. This includes but is not limited to: 10 mins of activation for your muscles to increase mobility and stability, a brief warm-up, and a combination of weight training, calisthenics, and cardiovascular exercise. I will also instruct you on how to properly cool down, and provide guidance and information on correcting any muscle imbalances you have; thus promoting healing and preventing injury.
A client that I have been working on and off with for 4 years, has lost a total of 150 lbs. Not only has she drastically achieved noticeable physical results, she has become stronger both mentally and physically. She finds this to be the most successful aspect of her transformation. I feel honored and grateful to have had the opportunity to guide her through this journey.
