About Brooke D

My passion and purpose in life is to help people find self confidence through functionality. Personal Training, Nutritional Guidance and Mental Health training are topics that I have spent the last 5+ years studying and applying to not only my client’s lives, but my own. No-matter where you are on your health journey, physically or mentally, my goal is to be there for you as a trainer, a friend and an accountability partner to help you unlock the realization that you are capable of anything you set your mind to. I believe that constant determination, a genuine enjoyment from taking care of your body and never letting yourself forget your “why” are necessary, and completely achievable, to begin living a healthy lifestyle. I will help you make that happen. Other hobbies/passions of mine include Pilates, Yoga, being a wife and a mom to my 1 1/2 year old boy, traveling and anything that allows me to be creative or artsy! Aspirations of mine are to create/grow a training business with my husband, to include a combination ofPersonal Training, Group Fitness, Nutrition and Mental Health

Training Philosophy
Everyone should train with the ultimate goal of functionality. We can expand on that by adding other specific, personal goals such as aesthetics, strength or specific capabilities to master. But being able to be functional is a gift in itself.

Training Professionally Since
August 7, 2024

Typical Training Session

In a training session, we will begin with a combination of mobility, foam rolling and/or warmup exercises/cardio to properly prepare the body for the exercises ahead. The training session will consist of customized exercises, specifically programed with the client’s current physical state, capabilities and goals in mind. We will follow the program week to week, to build the client’s capabilities through progressive overload. Consistency and working outside of their comfort zone will be highly encouraged. We will make sure that form is corrected and the weight is correct for the demands of the exercise to ensure safety and to prevent injuries or set-backs. After a challenging training session, we will take 10 minutes to cool down, to include a proper stretching session.

Client success story

I had a client a few years ago who was in one of the lowest points in her life and her self confidence was almost non-existent. She began working with me, and the majority of our sessions in the beginning were mostly just therapy sessions. I taught her what I knew from my education and life experiences, and she absorbed absolutely everything. She used this knowledge as her power and began making extreme changes in her life, for the better. She trained with me 3-5 days a week, perfected her diet and I could tell that she was digging herself out of her depression. In a matter of 6 months, she fell in love with the process and dropped around 50lbs of fat, while gaining muscle, strength and endurance. I remember when she wore shorts to the gym for the very first time (Something she had voiced previously that was something she could never do) and it was such a beautiful thing, to me. She started as my client, and then became a friend. Today, she is my inspiration.
