I have been an RN since 2009. Prior to that, I was trained as a classical ballerina. After nursing school, I tried my first triathlon and was hooked. I’ve raced in several half Ironmans and became certified as a USAT level I coach. During 2020, I received my certification as a personal trainer. I have coached cross country teams in the past. I recently completed my 200 hour yoga instructor training. I have always been involved in fitness and being active throughout my life and love to introduce people to new activities and have them become a part of their daily lives. As a nurse, I help people during their disease process. As a trainer, I get to help people instill healthy habits and a lifestyle that helps to prevent some of those diseases.
Hourly rate:
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
I begin with a listening session either in person during a walk or over the phone. I can then help to craft an individualized plan based on goals set during that session.
I started with an overweight 20ish male who was looking to improve his health. We worked on setting goals and he decreased his body fat percentage by 10% and increased his muscle weight significantly. Throughout the process, he gained confidence and was able to try many new activities that he had not thought of including boxing and climbing.
