Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
My name is Marcus Washington and I’ve been a certified fitness professional since Jan 2004. I started at UT Southwestern in Las Colinas doing rehab on clients for post patient surgery. After that stint I worked in Ballys Total Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and LA Fitness. I started my own personal training company in 2006 and didn’t look back since then. I operated as an independent trainer/contractor out of Trophy Fitness from Jan 2007-17. Then I was a managing partner at Body District. I left now I’m servicing clients at Extreme Iron Pro in Dallas TX.
I’m a verteran in this industry and I’m driven to simply help the community with their wellness needs to sustain a better quality of life. I tailor the program to the client’s needs. I offer postural screening to help identify any muscular descrepancies the client may have. Assess, correct, recover, and build that’s part of my philosophy when it comes to the journey of elevating an individual’s wellness. After we all have one life, make sure your absolutely living a healthy one.
I aspire the help as many people as I can as I go through this business. The main thing that drives me is looking back one day and counting how many I helped along the way.

Training sessions with me involve first off a strong relationship. We identify goals to accomplish together, assess those goals and put a plan together to reach them. A client can expect me to be very intuitive, profressional, personable and focused. The client invests in what I offer as a fitness professional. It’s our synergy that makes the long term run efficiently.
Training sessions are on average an hour long. If there is a goal of sports performance those sessions are usually longer than an hour.
I have many success stories. One that I’ll point is training athletes in the NFL, specifically Terence Newman. Terence came to me in 2012 with a “weak quad” he was having constant MCL sprains. Well it wasn’t his knee it was his anterior pelvic tilt that affects his knee when he’s performing different movement patterns. Anyway, make a long story short we rehabbed and trained Terence ended up getting a bigger contract that year with the Cincinnati Bengals, also prolonged his career an extra 5 years as well. It’s always in the details of programs to help the community with their wellness needs.
