Collette is a Pitta with a sprinkle of Vata Dosha. She was born in Silicon Valley. She began her yoga journey in 2008 in Los Angeles and San Francisco, where she also practiced prenatal while pregnant. Before landing in Austin, Texas, she lived in Spain and Chile. Collette is bilingual in Spanish and English.
200 RYT Yoga + 85 RPYT Prenatal Yoga and Yin Yoga + Nutrition certified + IMBA in International Business in Spanish language.
Collette was a child competitive athlete in swimming and soccer, who was injured at a young age but she was pushed beyond her limits and permanently damaged her left knee and left shoulder. Therefore she is extra thoughtful about injuries and works carefully with any modifications and special needs. You will be relaxed and enlightened after an vigorous, energizing yet methodical yoga practice. Being a mother, living with competitive sports injuries, and being allergic to many pollens and foods, I aim to help those appreciate the world without the stresses of our modern world and learn what we can all do to live in harmony with nature. Live a better life in food and in health! Yoga is about clearing the mind with added physical and exercise benefits.
