Registered Dietitian Nutritionist- Aspiring chef, a life-long athlete, and Yogi. With my own health-wellness journey I found liberation in striving to balance the multiple pillars of health: Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, Social and Mental. Finding the pleasure and benefit of movement at a young age, pushed me to self-train for 10+ years with self-studies, and modification and adaptions to routine allowed for an understanding of capacity, motivation, and life balance. My education at West Virginia University studying Nutrition and Food- then continuing to obtain my Masters of Science in Nutrition and Metabolism at The University of Texas Medical Branch along with my Weight Training, Group fitness classes, Chaarg Women’s Fitness support group, yoga practice, hands-on work at HealthMatters Chiropractics- all were crucial to the development of my skills. I aspire for myself to obtain my yoga instructor certification as well as run a Triathlon within the next 3 years.
