I keep the “Personal” in Personal Training. I believe it is very important to connect and reach out to those who not only want to look great, but achieve a sense of self worth for themselves and families. I seek out those who don’t feel they have a chance of achieving a better life through fitness. No matter what the situation is, I want others to know; there is always a way to thrive in their current situation. With 5 years of training and 4 different certifications under my belt, I am always driven and determined to change lives. I am with the organization of ISSA who has taught and guided me on how to treat my clients and give them the best workout. With confidence, honesty and friendship I have been able to train an array of people who want to be a better version of themselves.

Training Philosophy
It starts with connecting, not intimidating or scaring the client into the workout. I connect first then assess. I listen to their needs and wants. After that is established I make them feel comfortable into guiding them into an unforgettable workout.

Typical Training Session

I ask the typical questions of why are you here, or what led you here to the point that you decided you need to get healthy. I get to know them first to make sure they are comfortable with me. After that, I asses the injury or preventions of not being to exercise for a period of time. Then I slowly guide the client into what they can do first physically followed by a challenging workout that doesn’t deter them from their long term goals. It will be workouts they have never done before. However, they will be driven and tested on their own individual limit, never making them feel powerless to the workout. I always engage make sure I’m involved and doing the workout with them if I need to for support. My clients are never alone in the actual workout.


Client success story

An older woman who had been in a situation with a female and male trainer in the last two years that pushed her to hard to work out without getting to know her actual injuries. She told me of the horror stories of not feeling good after the workout but rather defeated and tired. Which is the opposite of what a workout is supposed to do. Once I heard of this I made it a priority to make her feel accepted happy and comfortable with me. Especially in a gym setting. I then began training, a little at a time, following up, testing her limits, calling and keeping in touch in general. She ended up losing 30lbs with my workouts in one month. I also recommended healthy dietary restrictions she should follow and she stuck through it. She told me she stuck to it because she needed a trainer that believed in her and not just wanted a paycheck, but wanted to actually change lives. She said she felt that through me and proceeded with the diet and exercise.
