I am very experienced, as I have been a certified trainer for many years and now a certified health coach for several years as well. I have worked with people of all ages, including special populations. I have additional training in health and longevity wellness, weight loss, nutrition, post rehab and medical fitness, pilates, yoga and swimming. I truly love to help people become more fit, functional, healthy, happy and confident, which usually increases longevity as well.
Hourly rate: $90

We will always start with a warm up, a few specific stretches and some myofascial release to alleviate any tightness or pain you may have. Then we will continue with a fitness program, specifically designed for you based on your current level of fitness, any conditions or injuries you may have, your interests and goals. We always utilize time wisely, by incorporating some cardiovascular exercise into the routine and take advantage of active rest periods with specific stretches or interval training, depending on your specific needs and goals. Finally, we commence with a cool-down to facilitate return of your resting heart rate.
A few years ago, I worked with a middle aged man who was 100 pounds over weight and had type II diabetes. I was able to work with him several days each week. I really had to figure out why he was leading this life of constant overeating and inactivity. Although he really enjoyed the workouts, I knew there was a lot more work to be done on a different level. Gradually, through motivational interviewing and lifestyle modification and behavior change, his perspective on life started to change. Over time he was able to eliminate his diabetes medication and loose the excess weight. I was so proud of him and very happy that I was able to have this positive effect on his life.
