Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I am an artist, musician, and teacher of both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. I love both teaching and practicing yoga as I find it strengthens my mental resolve and my physical body. I love being to able to see positive change in my students, whether it’s just sinking deeper into a pose or finding strength in their personal lives. My aim is to inspire students to take the time to check in with themselves and check in with their physical health. I strive to foster growth and creativity, as well as mind and body alignment.

In a slower flow/Hatha class, we journey from gently checking in with our muscles and joints to a peak pose intended to increase flexibility or strength. with many modification options along the way. We then slowly wind down and end with a brief meditative moment.
In a strength/Vinyasa class, we warm up and move through several strength oriented poses, often with repetition, before winding down and taking a moment to once again stretch and release our muscles and joints.
One of the most impactful clients I ever had was a woman preparing for a significant surgery. She faithfully came to my candlelight Hatha class every week until her surgery, as she was using yoga as a way to prepare her body in the hopes of a smoother healing process. When she quit coming to class after her procedure, I knew she was focused on healing, but I wondered if she would return and whether the procedure had been successful. She did eventually return to class and was feeling great! It was so impactful for me to get to be a part of that journey and to help her through this massive moment in her life. It truly felt so special to be able to aid someone in something so scary and to help them garner the strength they needed.
