My main focus now in my 9th year in the fitness industry is to make sure that my clients are eating enough to build the muscle they’ve been longing for, sleeping enough, drinking their water and slowly starting to incorporate other healthy habits, mindset routines and stress management (ahem, yoga hint hint) around body image that will last a lifetime.
Quick weight loss and crash diets are a no-go. So are food guilt and negative self-talk. You simply cannot HATE yourself into your “dream body”. That’s in quotations because I truly believe that everyone would be healthier if they focused on how they FEEL more than how they LOOK.
If you’ve been tearing yourself apart in the mirror for years, those negative feelings about your body don’t magically disappear even when you do hit your “goal weight.” That’s why I strive to lead with compassion and empathy as a Trainer and meet you where you’re at – with your workouts, your body image, your eating habits, your lifestyle.
I take an anti-diet, weight-neutral approach that considers the damage done to tear us down by the diet and fitness industries’ quick fix mentality, TV & magazines that only portray one “ideal” female body and social media rife with Photoshop, filters, cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
Hourly rate: $80

I teach a slow flow style vinyasa yoga class. Focus is on the breath, lower body strength and core stability. By the end of class, you should feel relieved, relaxed and less worried about the craziness of daily life.
