Al Ledet is originally from Wadsworth, IL, and currently resides in Goodyear, AZ. His playing career includes high school and college, baseball and basketball. After two years at the University of Mississippi he returned home, and accepted a scholarship offer to play basketball for Saint Xavier University, Chicago, IL, at the NAIA Division I level. Al’s professional career includes over 20 years in the field of Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology, along with over 7 years in Exercise Science, with specialty in strength and conditioning. He received his Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, with a concentration on Sports and Exercise Psychology. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and a member of the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). Other professional memberships include the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). Over the last 10 years Dr. Ledet has coached youth sports and provided preseason, in-season, and offseason training to youth, adolescent, amateur, and recreational athletes, preparing them for their upcoming sport seasons in the West Valley. He has also worked as a Personal Trainer and promoted to Fitness Manager with a major gym chain in Avondale Arizona, where he served in that role for 1 full year. Furthermore, other skill sets include weight loss, weight management, endurance, and strength training, in combination, with nutrition for improving performance and increasing the quality of life. Personal interests include recreational sports, training as an endurance athlete, and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Hourly rate: $65
