Hi my name is Carlos and I have always wanted to push my self to learn more about the fitness industry since it is always evolving. Whether it be exploring new types of training styles or learning more on the nutrition side and wanting just to help people and to get to know there fitness background. I have always had trouble with my weight since I was little and I guess that was the precursor for me to start pushing my knowledge of the fitness industry. Then afterwards came the ultimate push for me to become a personal trainer when my father who was an alcoholic had a stroke back in 2012 luckily he survived and is alive and well today, but back then I didn’t know what was going to happen so I decided I didn’t want this tradegy to happen to me or anyone else in my family. That year I enrolled at the University of Hoouston and with the help of my parents I graduated with my bachelors in Kinesiology in Exercise Science and testing with a Minor in Nutrition and from then on I started my personal training on August 2016 at 24hr fitness. I stayed there for almost two years before I decided I had enough with their philophsy which was really about more about getting the most money out of a member than really trying to help the member. Which now I am at a mom and pop gym training clients that decided to come with me after I left 24hr which shocked me how many lives I impacted that were willing to come to whichever gym I decided on next.

I will help you create a personalize program that fits your level of fitness that comes with a monthly calendar, personalized nutrition program, detailed workout programs, help correct any deviations, push you and motivate pass your limits, one on one guidance through exercise movement, and accountability throughout the year.
I have had a few clients come up and thank me for what I have done for them whether that be me helping them keep going through the year, by helping a client be able to walk up the stairs without any help or just being a friend and listening to them. My first success story comes from one of my first weight loss clients who had trouble losing weight on her but when she came to me I explained in detail what I could do for her and with my guidance not only did she drop from 230pds to 150pds in a year timespan she is still motivated and on her onw going to the gym. Lastly my most recent success story I value more comes from a nice elderly woman who had trouble going up the stairs on her own she would always have to use the elevator cause one side of her body was weaker, but with my corrective/ functional training program I designed for her I helped slowly build up strength on her weaker side and after 5 months coming with me twice a week she has been able to go up the stairs on her own with just the handrail to help her every now and then.
