Hello, my name is Dacia (Day-Sha). I’ve been practicing yoga since 2018. I was introduced to yoga to try and naturally heal my body from chronic pain. I am a former ballet dancer, I have danced for over 15 years. The sport is very physically draining on the body unfortunately, my body took most of the brunt of it. I constantly woke up in pain, some days unable to walk from back pain, and I needed relief. I saw chiropractors for years and although it would help at the moment I would revert to the same pain I walked in with. Well, in 2018 I discovered a Rodney Yee DVD in dollar tree and thought let’s see what this is about. I instantly was hooked on how it made me feel. Fast forward to 2020 during the pandemic, I was in the house practicing yoga every day and I started to learn about my body, learn how powerful breath is, and how I can begin to heal my body. For the first time in years, I was not in pain from when I woke up until I went to bed. It changed my life, and I hope to share that with everyone. The power breath and movement have on the body are something I want to share with anyone willing explore their bodies in a new way.
Hourly rate: $80

I have a student who was in a toxic relationship and she gained over 50 lbs. She had stopped taking care of her body and was in pretty poor physical health. When I started teaching her she could not touch her toes and was not flexible. A year later she can reach beyond touching her toes, and she is able to do the splits which was a major goal. Something she never thought she would be able to do. She has gained strength, flexibilty and confidence.
