Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I believe in the transformative power of yoga. Every time we step onto the mat is a moment where we can be truly vulnerable while learning to lean into our strength and our grace. Our mats are mirrors of our emotional needs, and when we tune in to them, we strengthen our connection to our breath, allowing us to be more present in this moment. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression, I have used the power of meditation and the tools of yoga to help manage my struggle. I am passionate about helping manifest a stronger mind-body connection, through the breath, to those who may not have found it otherwise. Yoga is for all.
As a graduate of Sacred Glow’s 200-hour Yoga 2019 Teacher Training program with Melissa Scott and Jasper Elliott-Wolfe, and as a registered member of the Yoga Alliance, I am an RYT 200 who specializes in Hatha Yoga with a focus in Core Strength Vinyasa which helps us move more from the deep core line. This connection along with a strong breath helps invite peace into our lives. I sincerely believe this wonderful healing practice should be shared with all. Come join the community! Jai namaste!

A typical yogic session with me will involve some light meditation to start, which is then followed by some warm-up stretches on the ground that then progresses into more aerobic and active postures for about half the class. Following that, we will try to expand our flexibility while maintaining strength and proper posture from our core. Once we’re past that point, it’s all about cooling down and working with floor postures to get some nice stretching while our muscles are warm. After that, it’s all about savasana, just lie back, be in the moment, and drink it in. You will have earned it.
My first ever client after graduating from teacher training was my mom. I truly love what progress we were able to make together, the most impactful of which didn’t occur during a standing split, or inversion, we were just working on our breath, sitting cross-legged. I was talking her through what proper breathwork feels like and she vocally exclaimed, “I’ve got it!”. Through our practice, she realized that she had been breathing backward her entire life, and as such wasn’t filling up her lungs to their fullest capacity. I explained some of the physical characteristics of appropriate belly breath and she has confessed to me that it has changed her life. I will always treasure this story as my first success as a teacher.
