Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I grew up an athlete, from the first moment my parents could sign me up for sports. I’ve played soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field, powerlifting, and I attempted tennis in HS until they told me I couldn’t practice 5 sports at one time… so I got a personal trainer instead. That changed my life, my view on health and fitness, and inspired me to become a personal trainer myself. The gym I was going to needed a new Sports Performance trainer and they asked me if I would be up to it, and of course I said YES! A couple years of that and I knew I was ready to branch further into different types of fitness. I started mentoring with my boss/trainer and he had me help train some of his 50+ years young clients, and that was the most educational moments of my life. I learned about injury prevention and pre/post rehab, weight-loss and weight management, functional and primitive training, all the good stuff and the basics. Not long after was I picking up all different types of clients. I have the “I just want to lift heavy shit” clients, the “I really need to lose some weight” clients, the “I want to build as much muscle as possible” clients, the “I’m too skinny” clients, the “I’m about to have knee surgery and need to lose weight and strengthen the muscles around the knee” clients, and many others, I LOVE THEM ALL. I pride myself in having a very broad knowledge and experience in the fitness industry and love the challenge anyone thinks they can bring me!
