My personal training philosophy goes beyond simply going through the motions and counting reps. It is about being determined to change your life and taking the necessary steps to make it happen. My personal struggle with binge eating and weight gains drove my passion for fitness and inspired me to pursue a career as a personal trainer.
All through elementary, then in middle school, I was overweight . At 14, I made a decision that changed my life forever. I lost over 30 pounds at the age of 14. I continued to attend fitness classes, read many books on health and fitness and asked many questions about strength and weight training. In 1996, during my pregnancy, I gained over 70 pounds. I was released from the hospital at 167lbs. At that point, my determination grew stronger than ever. I began to run and workout at a nearby park, after a few months I was back at the gym. I realized I was made for this, I wanted to engage, teach, help people who were struggling like me. I pursued my certification as a personal trainer and kickboxing coach. Its been 12 years since I committed to training and helping people in my community live an active, strong, healthy life, it was the best decision I ever made.

My goal is to train committed clientele in meeting their goals by applying valuable and effective knowledge and experience with custom training and client specific programs. I listen to their needs and get to know their strengths, from there I create a plan to target all personal goals
I recently coached a client for a total of 1.5 years who wanted a full body transformation to enter to compete at a national level bikini competition, She ultimately received a pro card and was chosen to be on the cover of the NGA magazine for natural fitness competitions.
