About Erin Abbott


Hi there! I’m Erin Abbott! All my life, I grew up playing sports which made me realize that after finishing school, fitness needed to stay relevant in my life! I believe that fitness is the foundation to everyone’s well-being and a healthy life! I’ve decided to become a trainer to invest in my own health along with leading others through their fitness journey. I’ve done activities that range from surfing, soccer, track & field, to dance, cheerleading and more! I’ve been in the fitness industry for a solid year now and have been side-by-side some of LA’s greatest trainers. My first job in fitness exposed me to Strength & Conditioning which had me at hello. I then went on to help a fellow physical therapist friend rehab his patients thru basic pilates. What I truly fell in love with was High Intensity Interval Training also known as HIIT which accommodates my energy! I work in an environment that gives me preprogrammed workouts with both strength and cardio emphases. I’ve been doing HIIT training for the past year now and know how to help people get to their goals quicker rather than later! I’ve been working in environments that foster functional training, plyometrics, calisthenics, and HEAVY LIFTING!

Training Philosophy
I believe that Strength Training is the recipe to longevity. It builds us a strong foundation giving us good posture, protects our bones and organs, and builds lean muscle which eats away fat. Cardio needs to be incorporated for cardiovascular health.

Typical Training Session

What you’ll expect is a HIIT training session which will range between 40-50 min long. I will incorporate strength and cardio with a full body workout. There will be body focuses each workout. For example, if we worked on back & biceps one day, the next I will program shoulders and legs. I will accommodate injuries and build muscle around them! We will incorporate calisthenics and plyometrics when dealing with building a blueprint for mind-body connection and increase intensity based on each unique body type. Core will never be neglected since it is the source of where we generate power! Expect a full body workout every single time with a diff focus each day.

Hobbies
I'm in LA primarily for entertainment, but love everything social and outside!! Many genres of music, events, parties, LOVE anything social! I'm also an introvert when needed, but will not pass up hanging out & being with people!
