My name is Gabriel Fernandez. I am 23 years old, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I grew up playing baseball, boxing, soccer, basketball, XC, and track and field. I Learned how to play football but never played competitively. I did my best to learn to be skillful in the sports I played, so I could compete to the best of my abilities, due to me being the shortest one on the field. My dad was the one who introduced me to fitness at the age of four and weightlifting when I was eleven years old. I ran track and field at Pima Community College for a short time and I played semi-pro/amateur soccer, after and before my practices I would weightlift or do extra sprint drills and agility/mobility exercises. My experience in sports training and strength & conditioning, stretching, and recovery goes back to when I was a kid and I added them to my own personal training program. I have 4+ years of experience in body transformation/bodybuilding, I would mainly train my friends and family members who wanted to get started or how to properly work with good technique and form and how to build muscle, and I would give them nutritional advice by telling them what I eat or do and how they can do it too. I got certified on July 28, 2024. I went to work in Glendale, Arizona at Eosfitness. I plan to grow my knowledge even more and help future clients be satisfied with their fitness goals, and overall health, and clients who are looking to perform at the next level in their sports. I also look for brand ambassador programs in hopes of being sponsored by fitness brands.
Hourly rate: $90
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
A client can expect that they will be going home feeling good after each session. A client can expect that I will push them to their true potential and they will expect that I will go easy on them if or when they are feeling some kind of pain and soreness. I love to have conversations with clients so I can create a bond with them and so they can also feel comfortable with a trainer that knows how to listen and pay attention to the clients if they are doing the exercises right. Clients will expect that I will be informative as much as possible so they can understand what certain exercises will help target a muscle group and how recovery and nutrition also play crucial roles. I do like to joke around, I am a big fan of comedy, so a client can expect that a trainer is knows how to joke around and take jokes as well.
I had a client in Glendale whose family sadly has a history of being overweight and having diabetes. Luckily, this client knew that she didn’t want to end up like family members. My client did not show any signs that she was physically overweight or signs diabetes, but when I weighed/scanned my client with the Evolt machine from the gym, it showed that she was slightly overweight for height and age. She lost 3-6lbs in a span of 8 weeks, she would train with me once a week, due to her personal training program she bought from the gym. My client felt more energized, healthier, and happier with how she felt after seeing her progress overall.
