My name is Grace Andersen! Along with personal training and coaching- I also work as a professional dancer and choreographer. I love to take the calisthenic aspects of dance training along with traditional strength training to create the best programming for my clients. Whether that be weight loss oriented, sport specific, or just learning how to move the body- I train each of my clients with passion and detail!
Hourly rate: $90
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
We will always start with a dynamic warm up- which will include some mobility and activation work, along with targeting client-specific weaknesses. Then we will progress into our “main movements”- which will typically include 1-2 compound exercises that are our most complex/taxing exercises. Then we will transition into single joint movements, and eventually finish with conditioning or plyometric exercises!
A client of mine had suffered from chronic low back pain due to injury from a car accident. When we first met- she was unable to squat to full depth without pain/compensation from her low back. After 8 months of corrective exercise, and proper programming, she was able to back squat 100 lbs pain free! Between targeting her hip and knee alignment, and working to mobilize her hip joints, I was able to build increasing strength and give her relief from ongoing pain.
