Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I’ve been practicing yoga since 2012. In 2015-2016 I lost both my best friend Ryan, and brother Greg, to suicide. In the wake of these tragedies, I was left in a state of soul crushing agony.
I knew turning to alcohol and other unhealthy coping mechanisms I’d used in the past wouldn’t help, so I dove deeply into my yoga practice. With time, I learned to turn inward and be still through the onslaught of grief. Yoga saved my life in many ways.
Having experienced the transformative power of yoga, I decided to earn my teaching certificate, so I could share yoga with others.
The physical benefits of yoga are also undeniable. I teach with a focus on strength, especially for the core.
I continue my yoga education through workshops, tutorials and retreats. I also recently got my Group Fitness Teaching Certificate to expand my knowledge of science-based exercise.
When I’m not teaching, I like to run, cook and, of course, eat. Most of all, I love spending time with family and friends and my baby Sienna, a mini-Australian Shepherd.

We first assess what it is you want to work towards and then take measurable steps to get you there. It all starts with a client’s “WHY”. In yoga, like many different areas of life, we need to learn what we want, then learn how to ask for it.
I helped a client achieve her goal of doing an unassisted handstand in the middle of a yoga class without falling. We took a yoga class together about 3 months after our first session and she was able to do it! We worked on a lot of different things over those 3 months. We needed to work breathe, balance and strength elements throughout our sessions. We worked at the wall quite a bit and utilized pilates exercises in combination with core strength focused yoga flows to execute small steps on the way to achieving her goal!
