Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with 4 years experience. I own a small studio in Commack called LI LIVE Health Club. I have several specializations including Corrective Exercise for post-rehab and muscle imbalances, Womens Fitness including pre- and post-natal, Fitness Nutrition, and MMA Strength and Conditioning. I have trained with a variety of clients: busy moms, mixed martial artists, senior citizens, pre/post-natal, student athletes, those seeking fat loss, and more!
I spent the early years of my life being sedentary, overweight and miserable. Fitness changed and quite literally saved my life! Seeing that I can live a better, healthier life as well as looking and feeling good inspired me to spread the joy that you can find through working out and making your lifestyle healthier. This can lead to a long, wonderful life where you’re able to do everything you love with minimal restriction or risk of hurting yourself.
Something else that is super important to me is actually enjoying the process of working out and being healthy. I love lifting weights and look forward to every time I do, and consistency absolutely helped me find the love for it.

A plan is a crucial part of a positive and effective personal training experience. Within your first 3 sessions, I will assess your movement and posture, we will discuss the activities you have to and love to do on a regular basis, discuss your long and short term goals, and choose the different ways you would like to measure your progress. Based on this information, I will put together a 4-week program with a combination of resistance training, core training and cardio, depending on your goals and needs. The program changes every 4 weeks to keep your body guessing and moving in different ways.
Cathie is a woman in her 50s, married with 4 children and a grandson. We started working together 6 months prior to a hip replacement surgery. She was overweight and quite sedentary, particularly because of her office job. Prior to her surgery, we spent the time building up her balance and stability. Once she was cleared to work out after her hip replacement, we still had a focus on balance and stability and started to incorporate more strength and light cardio work. Her favorite part of our sessions together is our stretching time. This has helped her keep her hips feeling good and to counter how much she sits between work and driving her daughter around the tri-state area for her softball travel team.
2 ½ years of consistency and small changes to her diet (cooking her own meals, cutting out wine) have led to Cathie going down 3 pants sizes. She always appreciates how great she feels, and how thankful she is for working out so much when she’s able to prevent herself from falling, as well as being able to keep up with her grandson.
