Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
I have been coaching clients for over a year in nutrition, strength training, and functional fitness. My specialty lies in empowering type 1 diabetics to manage the challenges of our condition with greater ease and confidence, which translates to everyone! As an ultra-marathon runner and daily strength training enthusiast, I prioritize true functional fitness—training that enhances real-world performance and overall health—over traditional bodybuilding routines.

Cardio and heart health are the foundation of my fitness philosophy. Prioritizing cardiovascular health not only strengthens your heart but also fosters a healthier relationship with food, enhances your body’s functionality, and supports aesthetic goals. Each session begins with 30 minutes of cardio to build endurance and energy. From there, we alternate between circuit-style strength training for overall conditioning and heavier functional strength training for power and mobility. Every day brings a fresh, dynamic routine to keep clients engaged, motivated, and consistently progressing.
From Injury to Adventure: A Client’s Journey to Strength and Freedom
When this client came to me, he was recovering from shoulder surgery and felt stuck. He loved skiing, mountain biking, and running, but his injury had taken all of that away. Even basic movements were a struggle, and he worried he might never get back to the activities he loved.
Together, we built a customized program focused on improving shoulder mobility and strength while addressing overall functionality. Using a variety of training modalities, we worked not just on his shoulder, but also on strengthening his back and elbow to create a balanced and resilient upper body.
The results were life-changing. His shoulder became stronger than ever, and he regained the ability to do things he hadn’t done in years: pull-ups, push-ups, poling hard while skiing, and even racing mountain bikes for fun. He’s now running every day and living a more active, adventurous life than before his surgery.
This journey is a testament to the power of functional fitness, patience, and a tailored approach to recovery. It’s stories like these that remind us why we do what we do.
