Growing up as and young athlete and in fitness, I have been inspired by many coaches as well as other athletes. Beginning my career in coaching (gymnastics) at 16, I really had no clue what philosophy was let alone had a philosophy of my one to guide me. On my journey, I started to understand more and more what drove my desire to help guide people to a more efficient and correct way of doing exercises and skills. I continually expanded my knowledge in the field of movement and fitness. All through this time I myself was on a path of my physical fitness at the gym. Being inspired and having an understanding I have a drive to help people, I pursued Personal Training.

There are many trainers out there, with many different philosophies.

I have seen and continue to see top trainers, as well as MANY what I refer to as “glorified rep counters”. I am sure they all have their training philosophies and models.

Do you know how the old saying goes, “ practice makes perfect.” I believe it’s Not “practice makes perfect”, but “PERFECT practice makes perfect.” In saying this, no matter how many times you practice some thing, and you practice it wrong, it will never become perfect. You need to strive every time you practice, for it to be the best you can do with the most correct form for it to potentially become close to perfect.”

Customization is Key
I individualize lifestyle programs for people to incorporate into their daily lives! I take each and every individual’s life story and create a healthy, well-developed lifestyle exercise regimen that can be used daily to achieve any goal or objective they may have or want to achieve in their lives. Each program is based solely on the individual and their body type. I even take it to a class level where I still individualize the programs based on the level of the people in my modelFIT class including people with injuries and health conditions.

I believe the best training model out there is the one which addresses the unique and specific demands of your sport, profession, or goals. To do this, you must use different methods for different clientele.
