I am currently in my last few months of medical school at the University of Chicago and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which is the main certification held by strength coaches for sports teams across the country. With this background, as well as a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, I help clients create training, nutrition, and health goals, and subsequently develop individualized and holistic programs to help clients meet these goals in the most efficient and enjoyable way possible.
Hourly rate: $90
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
A typical training session begins with a quick warm-up, which includes mobility drills to not only increase flexibility and range of motion, but also for long-term injury prevention. We will then focus on resistance/weight training for the majority of the session, with the exact exercises, sets, reps, and rest periods, all dependent on the client’s goals, needs, likes/dislikes, injury/medical history, etc. We will then finish with a short static stretching session if increased flexibility is desired. Additional aerobic exercise can be planned for the client outside of the training session if necessitated by the client’s goals.
