I started almost thirty years ago with group exercise and became addicted to it. I would try try everything from Zumba, to Les Mills Muscle Pump, from Beach Body Kick Box, to Mat Pilates, from Yoga to Boot Camp, from Spin to Step. But my first introduction to exercise was from my father. It was TaiChi. TaiChi and Yoga complement each other in many ways. I opened a yoga studio in 2007. At that time yoga was a new phenomenon. Even more so with TaiChi. It was dificult to stay in business and compete with the big gyms. I closed my business in 2012. In addition to yoga and taichi certification I certified with AFAA to teach group fitness. I became more interested to help the elderly with mobility and balance. In 2021 I got my NASM personal training certification and was able to devote more time meeting the needs of the elderly on a one on one basis. My many years of personal as well as professional experience in the exercise and fitness world allows me to help people avoid injuries while strenghtening muscles and bones through resistance training, developing flexibility through yoga and stretching exercises, improving balance through taichi, and cardio training for agility, coordination, and heart health. My first and foremost goal is to get results, to see progress in my students and clients.
Hourly rate: $90
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
