I have always loved to move, starting early with ballet and long-distance running. I love to cycle, ride horses, garden, and kayak. When I moved to the Pacific Northwest 10 years ago, I found skiing, hiking, and yoga. I have practiced different forms of yoga with many different trainers in many different environments over the years, having over 23 years of regular practice. I hold a 200-hour RYT from Bastyr University.
I love the physical and mental challenge, the calmness, and the vitality and freedom that comes from being on my mat. Qigong and meditation also became powerful tools to help me calm stress, anxiety and relieve depression. I teach with a balance of strength and softness, encouraging students to connect to breath, body and meet themselves in the present moment where all is well. Yoga is more than the physical poses, and in my classes, you will have the experience of connecting to your inner self, peace, and power that already exists within you.
Hourly rate: $60
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
